Information About Sorcha - Bray tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Sorcha and I'm very passionate about both teaching and Irish. I'm a native Irish speaker and I've a degree in primary school teaching and am currently teaching in an Irish primary school. I attended Coláiste Íosagáin which is an all Irish secondary school. I have a C1 level TEG in Irish and received an A1 in my leaving cert examination.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated in 2017 from Marino Institute of Education with an honours degree in primary school teaching. I have 6 years of teaching experience in primary schools and have 10 years experience giving Irish grinds to both leaving cert and junior cert grinds. I have experience also giving grinds to primary school students.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to Irish grinds is to focus on every aspect needed to succeed in examinations. I am very student focused in the lessons and ensure the students increase their confidence in using Irish. I have a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and focus not only on content knowledge but grammar points that are very often over looked but that are crucial to success. Using a range of methodologies in my lessons I create engaging and effective lessons.
