Information About Sophie - Dundalk tutor

Personal Description:

I am a passionate educator that strives to create an inclusive and engaging classroom. I believe in constantly educating myself in order for me to be able to deliver optimal lessons for all my students. I believe that adaptability is the most important trait any teacher, tutor or educator should acquire. I think every student is unique and therefore I design and alter my lessons in accordance with my students learning needs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching at secondary school level for over 2 years now. I have taught Geography at all levels of secondary and have a rich knowledge in a lot of areas. I have also helped students with extra English help to improve their literacy levels.
I have recently started private English lessons online.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe in getting to know my students so I can best adjust my lessons to their learning styles, needs and the reasons they have for tutoring. The main aim of my lessons is to focus on the necessary material a student needs to succeed and engaging with my students by encouraging them to give me formative feedback on how they think their lessons are structured and are progressing. I think student centered lessons are the most effective and inciting intrinsic motivation is key to optimal learning.
