Information About Siobhan - Cork tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Siobhan:
My name is Siobhan and I am a fully qualified primary school teacher. I am an enthusiastic, kind and patient person with a passion for teaching and learning. I graduated from Mary Immaculate College with an Honours degree in 2013 and have taught in many class settings. I have tutored children from the ages of 3-13 years in all academic subjects, including children with specific educational needs and children with English as a Foreign Language.
I have taught in many diverse classroom settings in my five years of teaching. I have taught children in a specific Speech and Language Unit, held the position of Special Education Teacher in primary schools and have had experience as a mainstream class teacher. I have taught children with a variety of needs and have been involved in setting specific targets for children and ensuring that these targets are met.
Approach to Grinds:
I vary my approach to Grinds depending on the specific needs of the student and their way of learning. I am extremely enthusiastic and I believe that this is very important when teaching children in a one-to-one setting. I set targets with children where appropriate and ensure that they are aware of what we are trying to achieve in each lesson. I try to make it as fun as possible especially with younger learners. I like to ensure that every child I tutor looks forward to the lesson and feels as if they have accomplished something by the end.
