Personal Description:
I'm a qualified Art teacher and have a Masters in Printmaking from the University of the Arts, London. I teach Art in a South Dublin School to all year groups as I'm the only art teacher.
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience teaching Art to junior certificate and leaving certificate students in a south Dublin school. I correct state exams so I understand what a student needs in order to achieve a high grade. I have extensive knowledge of teaching students with SEN .
Approach to Grinds:
The tutorials are designed for each individual student and what their needs may be. I find the areas that need focus as well as working on the students strengths to build confidence.
For Leaving Certificate Art, I will help my students prepare for their exams through written practice, study, questioning and resources I will bring. A positive attitude and a comfortable learning environment are key for the student to be successful and I strive to provide this. Many students have been successful in gaining places on courses of their choice here in Dublin.
