Information About Sean - Rathcormac tutor

Personal Description:

In 2016 I returned to college by night to do a Higher Diploma in Computer Science which I completed and achieved a 1:1 honours Postgraduate Diploma in 2018.
I really enjoy IT and in particular love teaching.
In my full time job part of my role is to help adults hoping to return to the workforce to improve their IT skills and/or learn computer basics.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been giving one to one classes with adults on ECDL/ICDL and computer basics for the past 2.5 years.

I also teach Microsoft Office Specialist Excel core.

Approach to Grinds:

I am a natural teacher. I believe learning should be a fun and an enjoyable experience. My approach is to break everything down into simple understandable steps. I help students to understand what they are learning rather just memorise steps or definitions. I am a strong believer in learn by doing, so I have devised simple exercises for students to practise what I have taught them.

I can also offer quick revision courses and sample exams for students who are tech savvy but need to pass ICDL/ECDL exams.
