Personal Description:
I am a German native linguist (MA) and qualified trainer for German as a Foreign Language.
Following my master´s degree in General Linguistics, German Philology and Romance Philology/Spanish obtained from the University of Cologne and advanced training in the field of "Systemic Coaching and Change Management", I completed further studies in Psychology (HDip) and Criminology (PGDip) in Dublin, Ireland.
Based on my specialisation in linguistic discourse and text analysis, my final theses in German and English language involved the exploration of language characteristics and their communicative functions.
Besides my longstanding experience as a trainer and examiner for German as a foreign language (CEFR), I have also been working as a translator and interpreter. In addition, I provide support as an academic and systemic coach.
Tutoring Experience:
Since 2004, I have been working as a professional German language tutor, examiner, and proofreader.
My clients include institutions, companies and private people, such as the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the European Commission, Lidl, Volkswagen as well as students registered at Trinity College, UCD or DCU. I provide online one-to-one tutoring or group classes at all language levels.

I provide structured classes that comply with your individual needs, such as:
- Junior or Leaving Cert preparation
- Thesis or exam preparation
- Daily or business conversation
- Proofreading or translation of documents
