Personal Description:

I have earned two LL.M degrees: an LL.M in International Business and Economic Law from the University of Southern California (2020); and a First Class Honours in LL.M in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin (2017). I have also earned a First Class Honours Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from Maynooth University (2016). I have passed all eight Irish Solicitor's Bar Examinations (FE-1s) and I am soon to be admitted to practice law in California.

As well as my other professional experience, after law school I clerked in the Irish Supreme Court for the current Chief Justice of Ireland. At the moment, I work as a Trainee Solicitor in Ireland's leading international law firm.

Tutoring Experience:

I guest lecture on the Masters in International and European Business Law (LL.M) at Trinity College Dublin. I also teach essay-writing on the Trinity Access Programme and Liberal Arts Programme at Liberties College.

I have been tutoring students since I was studying my first masters and I genuinely enjoy helping law students improve their essay writing and understanding of law. I've tutored students at undergraduate level, postgraduate level and for the FE1 exams. Given my diverse academic experience, I can cover a range of legal subject areas from Irish common law undergraduate subjects to a variety of specialist areas in European, American and international law.

Approach to Grinds:

My teaching style will focus on helping students understand how to approach modules, assignments and exams as well as planning and writing essays and exam answers. I have a structured approach when it comes to writing and planning essays and exam answers that helps draw out the relevant information that the question is asking and ensures high scoring results.

In short, the framework I'll teach you will help you to plan and write your essays and exams. It is not the only way to write, however, it is effective in attaining high grades at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is the method I used throughout my studies in Ireland and the U.S. and it has always yielded first class honours grades for me and the students I have helped over the years.

I am available to tutor in-person or online (via Zoom and using shared Google Docs) and have extensive experience tutoring online over the past year with relative ease and success for students.
