Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Noella. I'm irish and live in the countryside in Co. Kildare with my family and our two dogs, Jemima and Tabitha. Teaching is my passion. To inspire someone to communicate in another language is my main focus. Althoough most students come to me for the purpose of doing well in an exam my goal is to motivate them to succeed in conversing in the target language.
Tutoring Experience:
I started teaching 1991 in Italy. I now teach from home and in other places in Ireland. I have a lot of experience in all levels and all issues that can arise along the language learning journey.
Approach to Grinds:
After finding out what the needs of the student are I adopt a curriculum that is specific to the learner. During the lesson I usually start with the a revision of the grammar needed to deal with the topic that follows. I believe in creating as much scaffolding as possible to enable the learner.
