Information About Matthew - Dublin tutor
This is how 3 referees rated Matthew:
My name is Matthew . I am a first year student in the Royal College of Surgeons studying a masters of pharmacy. i completed my leaving in the limerick tutorial college and recieved 560 points including A1's in Agricultural science, chemistry, biology, and irish. I am a very outgoing and sporty person. I play rugby, golf and rugby. I fully understand the challenges that students face currently in understanding certain aspects of courses and as a student who overcame these challenges, my main aim would be to pass on my knowledge using great explanation and very good notes.
In my secondary school we had a set up whereby the senior students would supervise the junior study and help them with their homework and i was nominated a senior prefect and took part in this.
I am currently giving my younger brother chemistry and biology grinds.
i am also helping family friends in the same two subjects.
Approach to Grinds:
notes are the key in my view. Good notes lead to success in my view but i dont believe in just throwing notes at students to learn off by heart as i dont think it is helpful. my aim is to ensure that the student fully understand the notes that i provide before i am finished with them. Listening is also key for me, letting the student talk and getting them to open up and tell me what they dont understand so that i can then have a base to work off for grinds.
