Personal Description:

Experienced and fully qualified secondary school teacher of German and French available for one to one tuition and online tuition. I have 10 years experience teaching German and French in both Ireland and the UK. I have vast knowledge on all aspects of Junior/ Senior Cycle German and French and I can offer a wonderful learning experience to all students. I focus on all aspects of the German/French course, including oral work. I graduated from NUIG with a Bachelor of Arts International in German and English. I then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in German and French. I lived and attended University in Germany during my undergraduate degree.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in Ireland for ten years and I also have two years teaching experience in the UK. I am second level teacher of German to students in both Junior and Senior cycle. I have experience in conducting the Leaving Certificate German oral exams. I also guide and correct Classroom based Assessments for Junior Cycle in German and French on a yearly basis. I teach French to Junior Cycle.

Approach to Grinds:

All students are offered a differentiated approach to grinds. My main aim is to support the student and help all students develop the necessary skills to improve in all aspects of German. Students of all ages are helped with their areas of concern, for example; Reading Writing or Listening skills. For exam students I focus on exam technique and strategies. Success is guaranteed.
