Information About Lorraine - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am an extremely qualified science teacher who is currently teaching in Dublin and I have previously taught in Tipperary. I graduated with a first class honors from the University of Limerick with my Bachelor of Science Education Degree in which I specialised in Biology, Physics and Agricultural Science. I am currently teaching Leaving Certificate Biology and Agricultural Science as well as Junior Cycle Science. My approach to tutoring is outlined below.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently in my fifth year of teaching in one of the top schools in Dublin at both senior and junior level. My leaving certificate results for pupils in my class were top in the school with over half of the class achieving a H1 grade. I have an in depth content knowledge which is due not only to my qualification but also to my eagerness to engage in further learning in relation to updates within new scientific curricula. My knowledge of examinations and the techniques required to succeed are second to none.

Approach to Grinds:

Interactive and thorough approach to grinds. I will provide exam techniques, exemplars of answers that obtain top marks as well as high quality notes. I will encourage the pupil to ask questions and I will challenge the pupil on a regular basis through questioning and assignment of tasks. I go through marking schemes so as to help develop exam technique and maximise marks.
