Information About Linda - Gort tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Linda and I am from Galway. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in English and Geography.I went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Education followed by a Masters in Education. I have completed all my qualifications while working full time as a teacher since 2010. I am available to work in Galway, Clare and Limerick.

Tutoring Experience:

I began teaching in 2010, I have taught junior and senior cycle English and Geography at both higher and ordinary level.
I have worked as a home tutor for a senior cycle student and given grinds to students both one-to-one and in groups.

Approach to Grinds:

I structure my lessons in accordance with the students needs and their learning preferences.I cover all aspects of the syllabus or if it is the preference of the student to focus on particular problematic areas, this is also catered for. As we draw closer to exam time there will be more of an emphasis put on the sample exam questions. I have found it beneficial to some students who find the subject difficult to align the tutor session with their class session, our tutor session will them act as a backup in depth session supporting classroom learning.
