Information About Lily - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am a fourth year law student in Trinity College Dublin. I have spent much of my life teaching between grinds, sports coaching (rowing and hockey) and music lessons (violin). Through this experience I have learned how to teach others in a way in which they feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. I have a strong passion for learning and am eager to pass this onto others.

Tutoring Experience:

I provided various grinds in a number of subjects, volunteering through college for two years. I have also provided grinds outside of college for 4 years in leaving cert music. Additionally, I have spent 8 years rowing coaching, 6 years hockey coaching and 5 years teaching violin.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is a very casual approach. I want to teach students how to enjoy their subject in order to get the most out of their learning. I intend to pass on the techniques I used to help me get H1s whilst not burning out throughout the year. I believe that the most important thing about learning is to figure out what the best way for you to learn is, because of how greatly it varies from person to person.
