Personal Description:
I am secondary school teacher living and working in Dublin with four years experience teaching Irish at all levels. My lessons for Leaving Certificate students focus on developing confidence for the oral examination while also preparing them for the various aspects of the written papers. I teach a both higher and ordinary level Junior Cycle classes so I am familiar with the layout of the new exam.
Tutoring Experience:
One year in an all Irish secondary school. One year in a DEIS secondary school. Four years in an all boys secondary school.
Approach to Grinds:
My lessons are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I focus on the areas the student feels they need to improve on most while utilising a broad range of diverse resources. I strongly encourage questions as I understand there are many challenging aspects to both the Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle courses.
