Personal Description:

I have a first class honors degree (BSc) in Psychology from the University of London, a masters (MSc) in 'Early Intervention in Psychosis' from King's College, London and a PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

I am able to help with writing skills, essay structure, study skills and proofread assignments and dissertations whilst providing guidance on how to think critically when answering research questions.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked in social services with young people aged 16-18, guiding them with their college work and helping with their CV writing skills in order for them to gain employment. I have worked abroad teaching English as a foreign language in Sri Lanka and I have experience teaching A Level Psychology in a tutorial centre in Dublin.

I can help with dissertation structure, research questions, essay structure and proofread drafts, providing insight and feedback on which sections need developing to meet the brief.

I am currently working as a Senior Researcher in Health Policy research, working on mixed-methods research projects. I can help with literature reviews, rapid evidence assessments, qualitative and quantitative research.

My grammar and project writing was improved as a result of our work together. Kathryn also assisted me in proofreading my papers. She was fantastic at clarifying any errors and coming up with new questions for the project to tackle.
She was always willing to assist me and was quite thorough. A fantastic tutor who I would strongly suggest to college students.
Another thing I must admit is that she is well-organised and punctual with her timetable, sending the link one day ahead of schedule. It is clear that she is enthusiastic about her work.
