Information About Jim - Rosslare tutor

Personal Description:

Hi. I am a secondary school teacher of Mathematics (up to Leaving Cert Higher Level), Physics (up to LC HL) and Science (Junior Cycle). My previous qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science, Mathematics and Education, both from University College Dublin. I am hugely passionate about STEM subjects and making learning enjoyable and relatable for my students is one of my principle aims. My other passions include sports, food and travel.

Tutoring Experience:

3 years of teaching experience. I have also tutored students throughout my time in college and for the previous 3 years in each of my subjects.

Approach to Grinds:

I aim to help the student by getting to know their prior knowledge and understanding before building upon this to make their learning experience more relatable and enjoyable. Each tutorial is planned in detail and the goals of the session will be communicated to the student before the start. Notes are tailored for the needs of individual students and advise where their efforts should be concentrated.
