Personal Description:

Hi there !
I offer grinds / tuition for leaving certificate Biology and Chemistry for 5th year and 6th year students . I did my Leaving cert in June 2021 and received 601 points with a H1 in both biology and chemistry . H1 notes would be given to each student to help them prepare for each topic . I am a friendly and outgoing person which helps me build rapport with my students . I am also very flexible with my hours . I would love to help other students achieve what they’re aiming for!

Tutoring Experience:

With my wealth of knowledge and exam experience I am very effective in assisting students who want to improve/pass. I offer exam focused techniques to maximize results .I have taught my friends, family and other leaving cert students before. I have an excellent understanding of the leaving cert Biology and chemistry course . I only charge €15-20 euro per hour depending on the content and subject. Content varies as I can teach material and do past paper questions with students etc. I am a people’s person, patient, understanding and also possess great communication and listening skills .

Approach to Grinds:

It's a collaborative approach where we work towards a specific goal that the student has .
I use online platforms like Zoom for my lessons. I share my screen and we work through concepts, examples, and exam questions together.
I use high quality H1 notes to explain concept . From my own experience with state exams I know how daunting and overwhelming they could be. That's why I try to ensure that my students feel comfortable in asking questions so that all there concerns are fully clarified.
