Personal Description:

I am a first year PhD in Human Rights Law student at the Irish Centre for Human Rights in NUI Galway. I also worked extensively as a Legal Research Assistant in both Ireland and Nigeria where I have authored published work for blogs and through Open Access Publishing on SSRN. I am fluent in English and I am great with understanding different accents as I have lived in Nigeria, Uganda and Ireland and I have also had to work with different people from various natural, social, religious and cultural backgrounds.

Tutoring Experience:

As a PhD student, I have teaching and lecturing responsibilities and I have taught first year Bachelors in Law (BCL) as well as Bachelor of Arts (BA) students on the African System of Human Rights. Before that, I also handled two classes on the same topic as a Research Assistant working at the Irish Centre for Human Rights in NUI Galway. I am also a Teaching Assistant, tasked with general class organisation and management, and handling tutorials for Masters level Contemporary Issues in International Migration Law classes and undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel Bachelors in Law classes.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach will be calm and measured. I understand that different people are at different stages of their learning experience. Similarly, people learn in different ways, and I will tailor my approach to the needs and specifics of each student. The basics will include general conversations, questions, and some light work to take home. I also understand that people may have different time commitments, so I am committed to working out a time suitable for both the myself and my student. In all, an situation where the student gets the most out of their experience with me is the best outcome and I will strive for that.
