Personal Description:

I have just finished my Professional Master of Education from the University of Limerick. I am a native French and Arabic speaker. I had my BA in Philosophy and French studies at Mary Immaculate College where I received the French Embassy Award for achieving the highest grade in the oral component during the second and final year of my course.
I was graded A1 for the teaching placemen**Contact Detail Removed**ment of the PME course. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the course and believe that it has equipped me with the knowledge and skills required to be a competent post-primary school teacher.

Tutoring Experience:

I am registered with the teaching council. I worked in a variety of school settings and have experience of teaching at all class levels. I have experience in preparing for the LC French.
I am committed to providing a learning environment that promotes active learning through communication and interaction to help students engage with the subject and develop language competence skills, and confidence speaking the target language.

Approach to Grinds:

Online via zoom. I believe that students require targeted lessons that help them develop key aspects of their competence. For that reason, I consider students' engagement to be key in understanding the required language skills for development and move their learning forward.
While each year group requires a particular focus, I know that some year groups are more grade focused and require more direct assistance on how to correctly answer written and oral exams and get the maximum grade, for that reason, past exam papers and effective ways to answer questions will be one of my focus areas for senior cycle students in particular.
