I am a forth-year student in University College Dublin (UCD). I am majoring in Genetics with a structured elective in statistics and data modeling. This past semester I am studied abroad at The University of Virginia where I took a number of science classes including Human Genetics, Evolution and Ecology, etc. I have a first class honors currently and am interested in pursuing my career in genetic counseling.
I have given a number of grinds over the years in both Maths and Science. Most recently, I helped a student achieve a B1 in ordinary level maths, from his previous score of a D in the mocks. I have taken many different modules in both science and math related subjects and feel that I have sufficient knowledge to help any student achieve their desired grade.
Approach to Grinds:
The most complicated subjects can be easily understood by breaking them down into simplistic and yet relevant chunks. My teaching method is to break everything down for the student so they know exactly where and why each part of an equation/topic is necessary. It is much easier to know something when you understand it's origin.
