Information About Emma - Dunshaughlin tutor

Personal Description:

I qualified from DCU in 2012 with a BSc in Physical Education with Biology. I have been an examiner for both the state exams & the mocks exams for 7 years, having corrected junior cert science for 3 years (HL) and LC biology (HL) for the last 4 years, providing me a very good insight into the courses and what is expected of students in the exam. I have also provided both LC biology & JC science grinds to a large number of students over the last number of years.

Tutoring Experience:

I have almost 10 years of teaching experience teaching science, biology & P.E. I began teaching in a mixed school in Co. Donegal before moving to Kildare where I am currently teaching in an all girls school.

Approach to Grinds:

I prefer to meet students first and see what works for them. I ensure that they have a good knowledge & understanding of the key topics that come up and then work through individual topics that the student might be finding difficult. I use past exam papers as guidance for revision along with short quizzes to help highlight areas that need revision
