Personal Description:
I have a PhD in Psychiatry, completed at RCSI. I have a first class honours degree in Psychology from NUI Galway and a Masters degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, and am therefore proficient in statistics related to social sciences along with knowledge of neuroscience and neuro-development. I am a warm and friendly person, originally from Ennis, Co. Clare, and enthusiastic about teaching as it is my goal to become a lecturer.
Tutoring Experience:
Currently teaching tutorials 3 times a week in Trinity College to first-year Medical students in Behavioural Science. I also teach Research Methods to Postgraduate students at DCU.
Approach to Grinds:
Problem-based learning approach; look at subjects broadly and focus in one any key areas of interest and guide the student in understanding and reaching solutions themselves.
