Information About Claire - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am a graduate from Trinity College Dublin, with a 1.1 in Latin and Ancient History and Archaeology. I have managed to gain two separate university level scholarships, one through an exam based assessment, and another through research potential.

I developed a good command of Latin and English during my years at University, and a good grounding in sciences from before that, at Irish Leaving Cert level. Since then, I have perfected my skills as a tutor during my full-time job, which is currently based in Monaco. (Hence my availability for online grinds only).

I enjoy tutoring and helping my students to achieve their potential, and I look forward to helping in whatever way I can.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been professionally employed as a private tutor since August 2022, and have taught a variety of subjects, with an emphasis on English and History. I have been actively tutoring Latin on First Tutors as I wish to keep all my language skills active, and I have availability outside of my full-time tutoring job.

Approach to Grinds:

I would like to give people a sense of achievement when they come to a lesson with me - the lesson is entirely about you and your goals. I am here to help push you to achieve your full potential.

I think having a set structure and clear goals at the outset are the key to success - I am happy to research your needs and draw up a scheme of learning for the sessions we have together. I think you will find that my approach is transparent and direct, with the focus being on the results rather than what it takes to get there.
