Information About Ciara - Swords tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Ciara, I am 23 and I am currently a secondary school teacher in co. Dublin. I teach both Junior and senior cycle Irish and English. I am passionate about my subjects and I get great joy in sharing 'aha!' moments with my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently teaching in a secondary school in Dublin. I teach both English and Irish at junior and senior cycle level. I have a full 22-hour contract and I am really enjoying the challenge of my first year as a qualified teacher. I have done my school placement in Presentation College Headford this year, I taught for 20 weeks both Irish and English classes for. Last year I got experience teaching in Coláiste Iognáid, Galway city for 15 weeks. I have taught in Coláiste uí Cadhain, an Irish summer college in Inverin, for the past two years as an Irish teacher. I was the Galway coordinator for the center for talented youths Ireland last year, which is run by D.C.U. I also taught creative writing classes for them. I have provided grinds for both Junior and senior cycle students in the past year, as well as to third level students.

Approach to Grinds:

I am happy to teach online for the minute. I have a real passion for teaching and my main aim is to instill confidence in my students in the subject area.
