Personal Description:

Cian is a Master of Advanced Structural Engineering from Imperial College London (3rd ranked structural engineering college in the world (2019)) and has a great desire for the Design & Analysis of complex structures, Construction/ Arbitrary Law, Project management, Academic Tutoring & Guidance, Career Development, and Entrepreneurship. He has extensive academic and industry experience which has enabled him in finding simple techniques to breaking down complex problems.

He has won multiple awards for his academic excellence:
- Distinction in his Masters (MSc) of Advanced Structural Engineering and Diploma Imperial College (DIC).
- Institute of Structural Engineers and Imperial College London award for the 60-storey prestigious office development designed and analysed as part of his master’s degree.
- Business All-Star 2020 - Rising Star in Engineering from the All Ireland Business Foundation.
- Golden Medal Student Excellence award which was an award for his academic performance in the final year of his Bachelors of Structural Engineering.
- Guest speaker at Structures Congress 2020 (World Engineering Conference) to present research carried out as part of his bachelor’s degree.
- Global Undergraduate Award was also won by Cian for the research carried out on a cutting edge new material.
- Crampton Award for Academic Excellence was won by Cian in 2019 (Trinity College Dublin, Technological University Dublin, University College Dublin)

Tutoring Experience:

Cian is a University Lecturer at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) where he delivers modules in the Engineering, Geography (Earth Science), Technology and Environmental departments. He has extensive experience in delivering tutoring to students for various modules/ subjects on a virtual and non-virtual basis.

Approach to Grinds:

Tutoring services will be provided to students of 1st (Primary School), 2nd (Secondary School) and 3rd (University) levels covering a wide range of subjects/ modules that will be delivered using interactive learning techniques to enhance the students benefit from the session. All sessions will be delivered on a remote basis through Zoom or MS teams. Delivery methods consist of face to face discussions, screen sharing of power point/ whiteboard/ endnote, lab/ non-lab demonstrations will be also included.
