Personal Description:
Hi there! My name is Chris, I'm a guitarist and lecturer in Jazz Performance at Dublin City University. I also regularly perform both in Ireland and abroad (The U.K, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France) and have played with some of the biggest names in jazz ( Dave Liebman, Tom Rainey, David Binney, Jim Black, Nils Wogram, Theo Bleckmann, Ralph Peterson). Even though I mainly play jazz, my formative years were taken up playing in punk and metal bands so I have a lot of experience teaching those styles as well as most genres of music.

Approach to Grinds:
I firmly believe that music is for everybody and it is never too late to start. I think a competent and creative teaching method can help anyone who may be struggling with music be it in a personal capacity or under the Junior and Leaving Cert cycle.
