Personal Description:
I am an Art Secondary School Teacher based in Dublin.
I completed a BA Honors Degree in Art and Design Education in NCAD in 2014 with a First Class Honors and received the Art Education Prize Award.
I am available for Leaving Cert Visual Studies tuition and Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Practical tuition.
Tutoring Experience:
I have teaching experience in four secondary schools.
I have taught all years including exam years and have experience teaching LCA.
I have H1 standard notes on every area of the Visual Studies (art History) Curriculum some of which are on scoilnet.
I have experience marking the State Exams.
Approach to Grinds:
I will discuss with the pupil what they need to focus on and develop a plan based on their individual needs.
I will advise pupils on what areas are most important based on my extensive knowledge of the art curriculum and marking scheme.
I will tailor my teaching methodologies to suit each pupil.
We will look and correct past pupil essays to gain a knowledge of what is needed for an H1 standard answer.
I am open to whatever the pupil needs whether it be a year long tutoring program or a 4 weekend crash course.
