Information About Carmen - Galway tutor

Personal Description:

Hello, I am a 24yo female, Spanish native speaker with a Masters qualifications for language teaching. I speak English fluently (I studied English as a Degree) and some French. I am from the north of Spain (Aragón), my accent is Castilian Spanish.
I believe learning a language can be a really fun and pleasurable experience that happens to be incredibly useful for travelling, working, and studying!
About myself as a person, I believe I am approachable, patient and responsible. I am also easy going and some of my hobbies are hiking, reading, or watching movies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience in both high school language classrooms (ages 12 to 18) and grinds (primary and secondary school and adult level). The last academic year I worked as a language assistant in an Irish high school, so I am acquainted with the Irish school system for the teaching of languages. I have also worked in a grind school in Spain teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Approach to Grinds:

I can adapt myself to the student, depending on their level and what they want to achieve. I can make more dynamic, ludic classes as well as conversation classes, explanations of grammar, pronunciation or advice with writing/oral production. Together with the student, we can identify their needs or where do they find the most problems. The goal is to be more confident using the language, by means of clarifying or explaining points, or practising in different ways.

Everything we work on in class will be uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder, so the student can go back to each content and have a clear general image of the different language aspects reviewed, and how they relate to each other.
