Pam ( /5): (Adult / Casual French) cancelled and never got back to me.
From Reply from Liam: RE: Cancellation of Grinds with Pam Walsh.
>
> Dear Sir/ Madam,
>
> My apologies in delay getting back to you. I had to cancel the grind on Tuesday 7th of June. I messaged her directly and asked her if we could defer until the following week, due to my 1 year old being ill. I apologised for the delay in beginning the classes, but said "We can reschedule for another day, evening or weekend."
>
> Her reply was "ok no prob. talk soon".
>
> As I was busy with both exams and my son, I did not get back to her before I received the very negative feedback on 11th of June. I had planned on agreeing a new date that weekend, as she said she could only do Mondays and Tuesdays. I was surprised a nd dismayed as this is the first time I have received anything less than 5 out of 5. I make it my priority to be flexible and accommodating. I would like to especially point out that the person in question ignored my stated price of 35 Euro an hour and requested a discount. I agreed to this (30 per hour) and was extremely annoyed that having offered a discount, she then reported me 1/5 for four days delay. Again, I would stress that she maintained she could only do Mondays and Tuesdays.
>
> I contacted her immediately to remind her I was rescheduling, but she stated that she had "signed up for a 12 week course". I apologised for the cancellation (force majeure), but many of my clients cancel regularly due to family and timetable issues. I do not charge them for cancellations and I feel that I have given extremely good value, as well as being flexible and supportive, to every student I have. All my previous ratings reflect this.
