Personal Description:

I am a Home Economics teacher in a school in North Dublin for the last 7 years. I am also a qualified guidance counsellor and like to incorporate this into my teaching particularly senior cycle students who seek/require extra guidance.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience in teaching junior and senior cycle Home Economics which involves CBA's and practical projects for JC as well as journal assignments for LC. I have experience in correcting the state exams for LC Home Economics.

I have been providing grinds to students for the last 5 years.

Approach to Grinds:

I take an active approach to grinds by providing students with guided notes which I will assist them to complete during the session. The student will have comprehensive notes for each chapter at the end of each session and will not have to undergo doing out notes in their own time. The student will be required to complete exam questions and revision tests on a regular basis to ensure they are staying on track with the subject content. These will be graded by keeping track of the students progress. I will also help and guide the student with any projects and coursework
