Information About Aifric - Monasterevin tutor

Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Aifric, and I am a fully qualified second level teacher, currently teaching History and Geography full time in a mixed school in Co. Kildare.

I am registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland and Garda vetted.

I achieved a joint first class honours degree from Maynooth University, and completed the Professional Masters of Education from Trinity College, Dublin.

With a passion for Geography and History, I love travelling to places across the world, having lived abroad for a period of time also. I enjoy bringing my experiences to the classroom, and making these subjects engaging and relevant to students daily lives.

Tutoring Experience:

I have three years teaching experience. I have taught in an all-girls secondary school in Dublin, and two mixed schools in Kildare.

I have taught Geography and History to ordinary and higher level students, and my priority is creating a fun, engaging and student-centred environment to enable students to achieve their full potential. I am dedicated to helping my students progress and focus on responding to their individual learning needs to increase confidence.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is similar to my approach to teaching in the classroom. I will create a programme with the individual to enable them to achieve their desired result. I focus on catering to their individual learning needs in a relaxed environment that will foster confidence and mastery of the subject.
