Personal Description:

I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years experience in the Irish Education System. I have a Science BSc. degree in Biology and H.Dip Ed. with first class honours in both disciplines. I also hold a Masters of Education Degree.

Tutoring Experience:

An in-depth knowledge of the curriculum as well as an excellent understanding of exam technique and approach has prepared all of my students for their terminal examinations at both Junior and Leaving Certifica**Contact Detail Removed**vel. In addition, I have excellent experience of the New Junior Science Specification having taught MYP and DP International BaccaIaureate to enable students to develop the key skills required for the new Junior Specification.

Approach to Grinds:

A wealth of resources inclusive of interactive learning strategies and individually tailored notes provide students with an opportunity not only to develop their learning of key concepts during lessons but also during their own independent study. I feel that it is essential to develop a good rapport with students, to give students confidence in their own abilities and develop these further through the use of varied approaches to learning.
