Personal Description:

I am a music teacher working in a south Dublin school. I am very passionate about my subject. I play many instruments covering a broad range of styles from classical to rock and Irish traditional music. I have completed up to senior cert levels with the Royal Irish Academy of Music on both the piano and violin. I also play the bass guitar and clarinet.

I'm open to covering the leaving cert music course to anybody who is interested in taking it as an extra subject also.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 16 years experience, teaching to junior cert (cycle) and leaving cert. I have also examined music practicals for state exams. I teach piano and violin also and prepare students for Royal Irish Academy of Music exams in both instruments.

Approach to Grinds:

I always prepare for every grind and plan out my lessons carefully, tailoring my lessons to meet my students individual needs. I am always flexible in my approach to lessons and am more than willing to focus on areas requested by the student or parent.

I also take a strategic approach towards preparing for exams encouraging my students to put more emphasis on the sections where it might be easier to obtain marks.
