Personal Description:

Live Online tutoring available - Multiple Years tutoring experience in Maths - 5th year Masters Mechanical Engineering student.
My name is Patrick. I am a 5th year entrance scholar in UCD completed a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my leaving cert in 2019. I achieved a H1 in Maths, Applied maths, physics and biology.
I play rugby for seapoint.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience with Higher level and ordinary level junior cert and leaving cert students. I have been tutoring for 5 years with over 15 students. Maths, Physics, Applied Maths. Students report well structured lessons with emphasis on understanding and problem solving.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is one that puts emphasize on student involvement. From my experience in teaching and in studying, the best way to learn is by being fully involved in the learning process. With maths and physics in particular, the student has to do questions and be asking questions, which is why tutoring is the perfect way to learn.
In exams, students will encounter questions which they may not be familiar with, which is why having a strong understanding of the subject is important.
At the end of every session, the student leaves with no unanswered questions and a deeper knowledge of the subject. The student is given a study plan and questions to complete for upcoming sessions and/or exams.
