Personal Description:

My name is Maxime . I am completing a PhD in Astrophysics at Trinity College Dublin, where I also graduated with a high first class honours in my undergraduate. I am originally from the Netherlands but have lived in Belgium, France, Germany and now Ireland too. I speak fluent English, Dutch and near fluent French and German. I completed the International Baccalaureate in 2015 and achieved 43/45 points.
I am very friendly and patient, and enjoy helping students achieve to the best of their capabilities!

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught Mathematics to students from the ages of 13-19, at both ordinary and higher level. I have helped 2nd and 3rd year Physics undergraduates, with both Physics and Mathematics. Furthermore, I have experience teaching science at Junior Certifica**Contact Detail Removed**vel.

Approach to Grinds:

I would want to know the material that needs to be covered before the class so I can prepare my lesson. I require the student to be active during the class as we will go through exercises together. I am here to help when the student gets stuck, but not to teach subjects starting from zero base knowledge. I strongly believe that practise makes perfect, so students will have to be engaged to benefit the most from these lessons. I can also give revision lessons if a topic is too poorly understood to complete exercises. Before exam periods I can provide sessions with exam tips and aids.
