Personal Description:

Enthusiastic Home Economics and Gaeilge teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years and have acted as an examiner for both Home Economics Junior Cert exams and also for the Leaving Certificate as well as the Journals at Leaving Certificate level. While teaching, I have also acted as an examiner in many schools for the Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate mock oral exams. I am very passionate about both subjects and run my own twitter page and use a lot of technology in my teaching to ensure my students are always interested to make it easier for them to recall and understand the information they are learning. Will provide grinds at students' own home or in my own home. I received a 2.1 teaching degree and I am currently teaching both Home Economics and Gaeilge. Grinds can be provided weekday evenings or at the weekend.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in many different schools ranging from Ordinary Level Junior Cert to Leaving Certificate Higher Level. I also correct mock examinations in other schools and have helped students with Leaving Certificate journals and Irish oral examinations and Junior Certificate orals and practical examinations.

Approach to Grinds:

I ensure that students have an excellent understanding of a topic before moving on to a new topic. I have excellent up to date notes on every topic and I will also provide learners with study plans as necessary. They will also be assessed throughout every lesson to ensure they have a good understanding of important topics on the course.
