Personal Description:

I am a young, energetic and motivated teacher living and working in Dublin. I have 11 years teaching experience as a qualified Accounting and Business secondary school teacher. I am currently teaching Junior Certificate Business, Senior Cycle Accounting and Senior Cycle Business in a very high achieving and reputable school in South Dublin. I am very passionate about both subjects and thoroughly enjoy my role as a teacher.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 11 years teaching experience. I was Head of Business, Accounting and Enterprise for 5 years in my previous school setting which similar to my current school was a top high achieving school. This was a tremendous early endorsement of my capabilities as a teacher and of my wider business knowledge and organisational skills. Each academic year, I consistently support students with achieving outstanding exam results significantly above national averages. I have my many years experience tutoring students successfully. I enjoy the role greatly and I am highly motivated to make a difference for each individual student.

Approach to Grinds:

Grinds student achieved 97% in 2021 written Leaving Certificate Accounting exam. Reference available.

Each grind delivered, will be dependent on the students needs and ability, along with specific subject strengths and weaknesses. My sessions tend to be engaging sessions condensing down key points of information into an accessible format, prior to implementing the content covered into an exam style question.
All sessions are primarily focussed on enhancing subject knowledge along with meeting the demands of the exam board whilst entrusting confident and determination into each student. I am very personable. I am determined to support each student with ensuring they reach their full potential.
I set weekly tasks for students to focus on embedding their knowledge behind each session delivered.
Also, willing to offer tuition for students wishing to study Accounting or Business as an additional subject outside of school.
