Graduate Entry Medical Student with a Masters in Engineering - available to give grinds in Dublin. Friendly, approachable person with experience teaching grinds to various levels.
**FOR ONLINE GRINDS** Set up is similar to Khan Academy Youtube videos. I skype students and have a stylus on my end so I can hand write notes and then send them on to you after the lesson
I have experience giving grinds to students sitting Irish State Exams, UK State Exams, the International Baccalaureate, GAMSAT and those wishing to improve their skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Tutoring Experience:
7 years experience teaching both voluntary and paid grinds. I have helped students improve their grades at Junior Cert, Leaving Certificate and University levels. I have experience teaching standalone subjects, groups and students from various ability and social backgrounds.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach is to identify the students areas for improvement and develop a tailored plan to help them achieve their goals.

My Son is very happy with him and we are hopeful that John will help him through his Leaving Cert with weekly tuition and get good results with his Maths. He is going at a pace my Son is comfortable with and will move on accordingly I'm sure. We have no complaints with John. He is very professional.

He's also good for giving tips of things to study/websites to check for more information on the subject matter outside of the lesson, just make sure to agree where you'd both like to meet up in advance as there was some confusion regarding the distances the tutor was willing to travel and the information provided by the 'FirstTutors Ireland' website.

Of course I also wanted his grades to improve but knew that might take time. John has had a few sessions with my son and I was extremely impressed with the way he approached each lesson. He is very professional, excellent time keeper but more importantly he is extremely patient. He explains each topic very well and invites questions to get my son thinking. The result now is that my son is no longer overwhelmed by maths and actually enjoys his lessons with John and in school, and his grades have improved. I am delighted with the results within such a short space of time and I would highly recommend John.
