Personal Description:

Μy name is Eftychia and I am a professional actress,director and drama educator.I am also a tutor for the English as well as the French language. I am a graduate of the prestigious Drama School of the NationalTheatre of Northern Greece (graduated with honors) and a graduate of the Fine Arts School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki( Department of Drama) (graduated with honors) and I have successfully completed a 3-year seminar in the Centre of Drama Research of Thessaloniki(2010-2014) . I have been working non stop as a tutor and at the same time as an actress since my graduation in 2014. I have performed in numerous shows and performances as an employee of the National Theatre or the private sector. I have performed for all types of audiences (children,adults) and I also had the pleasure to be part of two Epidaurus performances, the ''Meka'' for every actor in the world. I am also a singer and a vocal teacher as well as a drama educator for children and adults. My studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki have provided me with the knowledge and the expertise of drama education and thus I have also become a drama educator for children and for adults too.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience in teaching starts in 2010 as a tutor for the Greek and the English language for children. Working as a tutor, has provided me with valuable teaching experience, as I have had interacted with children of all age groups ,thus I developed my communication skills and the ability to inspire interest for knowledge to the toughest and most sincere crowd there is.I started my teaching career as a coach for actors in 2012, when I started organizing preparation courses for candidates for the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and the National Theatre of Northern Greece.Ι am proud to say that up until today I have had 90% success with all my students as they entered those prestigious Drama Schools that accept only 5% of the hundreds of candidates that apply every year. I am also a vocal coach for professional or amateur actors or singers, as well as a tutor.

Approach to Grinds:

I have an axcellent knowledge of the Stanislavski Method, the Grotowski Method and Commedia del'Arte techniques, I am familiar with the works of Stella Adler,David Mamet and Daniel Craig. I am also a conneseur of Philippe Gaullier's work in clowning and acting through playing. I believe that the inner clown of every actor needs to be discovered and encouraged, not only for the purposes of comedy, but also for the so-called dramatic roles of every play. But above all, Ι consider myself an educator. And the top priority of an aducator is their students, their needs(mental and physical) and learning paste. And that is why my lessons have been, are, and always will be designed according to the unique individual and personality and body that I encounter. Together, we will discover the beautiful and fascinating art of acting or singing, by ''standing on the shoulders of giants'',through playing and through studying inspiring plays from all over the world and exercises designed to prepare the body and mind of an actor ready to act,(on stage or on camera) but most importantly to re-act.To the world around them, to the words in front of them wainting to be performed to come to life!
