Personal Description:

Hello everyone, my name is Cian and I'm a computer science undergraduate Student in Trinity College Dublin. I am currently working on writing my own software which I intend to sell for commercial use, my main areas of focus right now are 3D graphics and algorithms. I code on a daily basis for college assignments and personal projects. I would consider myself a highly motivated individual and I believe that I can teach anyone how to program, I've learned many programming languages by myself. However, I now have the formal education to backup my knowledge thanks to my university education, because of this I feel I can relate to individuals who might be struggling to learn on their own or who are struggling to learn academically.

The topics I'm most comfortable teaching are:

• C
• Java/Processing
• Python
• Assembly language
• Arduino C
• Scratch
• Leetcode/Interview questions

I am happy to coach and mentor individuals looking to improve at interview questions (algorithms) as I have been practicing these questions for an extensive period of time and have had multiple successful tech interviews to date with some of the largest tech companies in Ireland.

I am open to mentor the following types of individuals:

• Primary school students looking to begin programming at a beginner level.
• Secondary school students looking to begin programming or improve their current skill level.
• College students who are struggling with their course and are looking to catch up and improve their abilities.
• Individuals looking for tech interview mentorship and guidance.
• Individuals looking to expand their knowledge on programming or start down a new career path as a programmer.
• Anyone else interested in learning or discussing programming.

If your interested or have any questions about pricing or learning certain material, send me a message and I will try to help you to the best of my ability.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Happy coding!

Tutoring Experience:

I have mentored multiple University level students who are struggling with certain assignments or topics, so far there has been no students who have not found my tutoring beneficial.

I also have experience mentoring multiple secondary and primary students at a beginner and intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel on how to improve their skills as programmers. Often times I have tailored the learning material to the individual as I believe that everyone learns differently, I try to respect this as much as I can when teaching and mentoring my students.

A number of years ago I ran a community based weekly class where we thought senior citizens computer skills, the participants would bring any device they wanted to the class and we would should them everything they needed to know to use it how they wanted and to get the most out of the device.

I have also helped out many people in my course who may have been struggling with course material over the past few years.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is to first listen to the student. I find out what they want, what their end goals are, the types of things that they would like to be able to create or do as a programmer. After assessing the individual I then talk them through the multiple ways I believe that they can achieve their goals with my guidance. This varies greatly from person to person which is why I feel its particularly important to teach the individual material that will motivate them and that they will enjoy working on with an end goal in sight.
