Personal Description:

I'm a recent History Masters graduate from University College Cork with an interest in the teaching of History and making it more accessible.

I have both a first class honours in my Bachelors of Arts (History and Studies in Psychology) and Masters in History. I also received a H1 (or A1) in Leaving Cert History. From September 2017 to May 2019, I was a UCC Peer Support, helping first year with their transition into college.

Tutoring Experience:

I helped with students' integration into third level through UCC's Peer Support System. This included aiding first years in learning about support services, advice regarding education and college in a well informed and confidential manner.

I also have experience helping students with essay and research project preparation.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is to find the areas that students struggle with and develop my lessons plans to help them improve and achieve progress. I adapt my approach, notes and breakdowns to different learning styles.

I also offer exam technique and tricks for developing your research project.
