Personal Description:

I have the enthusiasm to make learning experiences for my students that are practical and easy to understand. I adapt my tutoring style to meet the needs of each student by incorporating their strengths and interests into the lessons. I consider tutoring an incredible journey with many ways for each student to learn and achieve success.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and I have been a state-certified teacher for more than 13 years. Most of my tutoring experience is with children in grades kindergarten through six in topics like Reading Comprehension, Phonics, and Language Arts.

Tutoring Approach:

As an English tutor, I believe teaching should be relevant, practical, and personalized to target each student's needs. This allows me to use the most effective instructional strategies for each learning style. I strive to create real-world learning experiences for my students that stimulate critical thinking and offer many chances for practice.
