Personal Description:

Originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, I am a 3rd-year student at McGill University, studying Music (piano performance major) and Science. I am ready to help other students with Music Theory, Math, and Science at the high school level and at the university level.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2020, I joined the McGill Science Undergraduate Society as a volunteer peer tutor. I helped fellow McGill students in first-year Physics. In 2021, I joined the McGill Tutorial Services and tutored topics in Statistics I.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to try different ways of explaining (drawing it all out, making a comparison chart, using analogies with a familiar concept… ) until a new or tricky concept becomes more familiar and comfortable for a student. I also offer general tips when I demonstrate problem-solving so that students feel more confident in tackling new problems on their own.
