Personal Description:

I am a professional engineer, math tutor, and have thirty years of experience leading multinational corporations. In addition, I have served as a member of a high-level government-based environmental group twice. I want to inspire my students and help them prepare for opportunities in the STEM fields. I am certified to teach math and physics to students in grades 6-12.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned my bachelor's degree in civil engineering. From there, I earned a master's in MAT-Mathematics. I am comfortable helping with all levels of math including ACT Math, college algebra, college physics, trigonometry, and more. I have years of experience with applied mathematics in real settings.

Tutoring Approach:

First, I like to get to know my students, their aims, ambitions, strengths, and weaknesses. Then, I figure out how we can work the best together using that information. I believe in giving students a choice in what and how they learn.
