Personal Description:

I have a thorough understanding of what it's like to struggle in school. I have a learning disability, which has made some areas difficult. I learned how to navigate the areas I found challenging and can help my students build these same handy tools. As an economics tutor, I can assist in many areas, including fundamental economics and microeconomics.

Tutoring Experience:

I began writing professionally in 2008, which has shaped my communication skills in a variety of ways. I have a bachelor's degree in English and I have experience tutoring young adults and professionals as a private tutor. I spent two years teaching full-time as a representative of my church.

Tutoring Approach:

I pride myself on my ability to tailor my approach to accommodate the individual student. I listen closely to their concerns, goals, and needs to devise the right method of communication. Over the course of a few sessions, I can assess how a student handles challenges, which allows me to identify their comfort zone and find ways to help them progress.
