Personal Description:

I am currently a student at university looking to help those with young children to further their child's understanding of reading and writing. From a young age, I have been lost in the world of books, reading at levels high above my peers, once I had finished with my family's book collection I moved on to writing my own stories. While I may have not yet published any of my creations I hope to help guide the writer and book lover in your child.

Tutoring Experience:

My parents worked full-time when my younger sister was a toddler and so I was in charge of being her nanny, as she got older she needed helpless but some of her friends and classmates needed assistance as well. In my years of high school and college, there were times that my friends and peers needed help preparing and organizing themselves for exams, essays, and lab reports.

Tutoring Approach:

Children can be quite headstrong, so I like to create for each child a loose lesson guide to help us stay on the path of the day with breaks in between more challenging activities to allow for a release of energy. So essentially I'm letting the child run free inside a fenced field, they get to decide our pace, direction, and how we go about the next challenge; while I keep us on track and away from completely unrelated subjects.
