This is how 2 referees rated Sarah:
I'm a straight A University student who is highly capable of teaching most subjects.
I'm in Concurrent Education (Undergraduate Degree with Teacher's College) and aspire to teach one day.
My experience of being a successful student gives me the knowledge and experience to help you study and learn in the best ways possible.
My knowledge of teaching and evaluating allows me to help students learn what teachers are likely to evaluate.
Tutored Math and Sciences in highschool. Occasionally volunteer as a tutor for all highschool subjects.
Before tutoring, the best way to get a sense of how students will be evaluated is to look at the curriculum for the subject and grade level. Next step is taking a look at the notes provided by the teacher and pinpointing the most important information. Next, is practising the content by doing homework, assignments, and practice tests (provided by the teacher, textbooks, or myself based on the curriculum and notes).
I'm easygoing and patient, and will do everything I can to help people understand what they need to in order to succeed. I can adapt as needed, even going as far as to use my own notes and lesson plans.
