Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Sam, and I'm an Arabic tutor! I believe that with motivation, guidance, and practice, I can help you succeed in raising your skills in the Arabic language. I love to teach, and one-on-one sessions are a welcome change of pace from my everyday life in the elementary classroom. I'm especially suited to help you prepare for any tests you'll face in your Arabic courses, as I consider myself a bit of a test-prep specialist.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently a chess teacher for elementary-age children, which is fun but challenging. I earned my undergraduate degree in Humanities.

Tutoring Approach:

Getting to know the student comes first. I like to give my students an activity that's designed to assess their current level of knowledge so we can make a realistic plan together. I aim to turn students into independent learners by helping them find the connection between hard work and success. Then, the work starts to feel easy.
