Personal Description:

I am a Canadian educated professional who has a passion for all areas of chemistry. I have studied organic, pharmaceutical, biological, analytical, biochemical and inorganic chemistry. I have a BSc. (Hons.) in pharmaceutical and biological chemistry and a MSc. in inorganic chemistry. I have been interested in chemistry and biochemistry since I was in high-school and that's where I began my path in the field. Ever since then I have been studying for 7 years at the post secondary level.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been a Teaching and Graduate Assistant for more than 2 years. I have conducted laboratories and tutorials for university students, upwards of 30 students at a time. I have also helped students one-on-one during office hours. This allowed me to better explain the problems students were facing, whether it was with the laboratory assignment or what they didn't understand in their lectures.
I have also tutored university/high-school students privately in the evenings and weeks for more than 8 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I have the knowledge, experience, and passion for chemistry/biology to help you succeed. I can teach chemistry to students who think it's impossible or difficult by taking the time to explain the basics properly first; before tackling higher level problems. I find many students do not fully grasp the basics in chemistry or biology, then when the exam comes they find it's overwhelming. That's why I find the principles must be shown properly first. I help students with the ground work, so they can succeed on there own.
