Personal Description:

I connect easily with children and believe it's important to treat them with respect while encouraging them to work hard. As an English tutor, I have high expectations for myself and my students. I will attempt any number of strategies to help a student learn a complex concept. I enjoy tutoring students in test prep for English sections of standardized exams.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in French Education and went on to earn my master's degree in Education. I have been teaching children English topics for about 15 years. I also have experience teaching English as a Second Language.

Tutoring Approach:

In my opinion, every student has the ability to learn and to succeed. Since every student learns differently, I value the differences. As an English tutor, I encourage my students to think through answers to problems rather than give them the answers. By helping them learn the process, I benefit them far into the future.
